This holland kit is damn nice looking. Wanted to buy it before the start of Euros, however was told that this kit is not available in Sg, so sad.

Yesterday my poly yr1 classmates organised a bbq. However they could not book a pit, so decided to have it at our database lecturer, Mr Yeak Shaw Wen's condo. It at Simsville located quite near to my house. They were meeting 3.45 at Tampines Mrt before going to Mr Yeak's house. They said they did not need additional help so I left home late.

I reached the condo at around 6pm. Called Weili and she told me they are at SingPost buying stuffs, i was like " I AM HUNGRY". Waited awhile before they came to fetch me into the pit. Mr Yeak and her two daughters Kimberly and Rachel was there. Those present were Weili, Aishi, Susee, Yi Ming and Nick. Amanda and Jia Jin would be coming down later. Mrs Yeak prepared pasta YUMMY, fruit cocktail, consiting of apples, jackfruits, logans, rambutans and sea coconut. Mr Yeak also provided a bottle of white wine I guess. We bought crab sticks, otaks, hot dogs, potatos, sting rays YUMMY, and Jia Jin later brought chicken wings. One of the best BBQ I ever been to.

The wrapping of sting ray for grilling was damn funny. They bought banana leaves for wrapping, to have the nice aroma. But most of the leaves broke into smaller pieces and had to be wrapped inside aluminium foil. The marination part, sambal chilli yummy , 2 handfuls of onions by Susee and lime. Yi Ming was shouting why are you putting so much onions. His 2 specially made sting rays were without onions. People at the other pit had already started cooking while, we just started fire. Hungry man faster.

Finally its around 8pm where the food is ready to be cooked. We had pasta first while waiting for the food to be ready. To me the pasta was nice, as I don't usually eat Italian style pasta, had 3 to 4 helpings hahaha. Took very few photos as they were camera shy and the photographs looked shaky may post them later after some editing.

Kimberley and Rachel brought down 3 tennis rackets. Yi MIng told me lets play after our meal. We were eating while the rest went to play. Well this is the first time I played tennis. I found the court to be small, as when i served the ball went out, my serve too hard or powerful? Maybe. Played for around 15mins when another group came. After that game, I found my right arms so aching and weak. I guess I might had pulled it OUCH. After all the food, we had a game of UNO with her daughters and Bridge, their favourite pastime. Heard they could stay back school until 7pm to play bridge crazy. Till this day I still don;t know how its being played.

Mingled and chatted. Yi Ming till this day still did not know his enlistment date. Nick would be going in 2 days later than me. Jia Jin, SUsee and Aishi the top students of IT school were in some world competition and projects while waiting for their entry into university. Weili the hopeless vcd fanatic is into her 3rd year, had many sub papers. I think she should be more dilligent and responsible STOP WATCHING VCDS.

Finally would like to thank Mr Yeak Shaw Wen for lending us your pit and the rest for organising such a wonderful bbq. Hope we would meet up soon and take care everyone for those going NS.
